A Blogger's Introduction to WetnWild*!

So as some of you might know, WetnWild, the U.S cosmetics company has finally made its way to the shores of the Emerald Isle and while it's been available to purchase in the South in selected Penneys and Dunnes Stores for a few months, it's made it's way up North and I couldn't be more excited!

I was lucky enough to attend a WetnWild event in Belfast recently and I got to have a look at many of their gorgeous goodies and even got to take some home to try out!

I think what makes WetnWild's arrival on our shores exciting is that it's another affordable beauty brand that offers huge variety in terms of shades and products.  Price points begin from £1.59 to £5.29, which is great if you're a beauty addict who has to watch their purse strings.  Look forward to a dedicated post for the Mega Rocks Glitter Nail Colour because it's nail polish, duh, but if you'd like to see more of the products above, let me know.  I can tell you that the blush is SUPER pigmented and the lipstick is a great shade for Autumn/Winter.

At the event, I also recieved some Image Skincare samples which I'll be trying out, I'm particularly interested in the Prevention SPF 50+ Daily Moisturiser (I do love an SPF!) but I'll post a seperate review post for those in the next coming weeks.

WetnWild is available from Medicare pharmacies across Northern Ireland and I hope you guys are as impressed by the products as I have been.  For my American readers, what products do you recommend?  Let me know in the comments below and be sure to follow me by the sites below, I'm close to a few milestones so it would be great to meet them before the summer is over.

Kiwi Kraziness (Inspired by Lazy Oaf)

Am I an honorary Kardashian since I used an inordinate about of Ks in the title of this post?  While I wait on the answer, here's some nail art for you guys.  This is based on this shirt from Lazy Oaf.  I've loved the pattern for ages and have wanted to do some nail art based on it for some time and I've finally gotten around to doing so.  Yes, it's a little more free form than the original but hey, that's part of its charm, who doesn't love cute cartoon style kiwi fruits anyway?

Barry M Coconut, Key Lime, Black and Models Own Nude Beige

I used Barry M Coconut as the base for the nail art.  It's another great high street/drugstore off white that was released this Spring/Summer and really, it and Coconut Cream from Models Own are so similar so naturally, I own both LOL

I hope you've liked this short and sweet entry and I'd love to hear what fruit you guys will (or have) put on your nails this summer.  Let me know in the comments below and be sure to like, follow and subscribe to any and all social channels, because who knows when I giveaway might pop up!  Until next time :-)

O.P.I Beach Sandies (Brazil Collection) Review

So my Mummy and Daddy went on their hollipops a few weeks ago and she asked me what I wanted from an OPI stand in the airport and I said 'Anything from the Brazil collection' and here's what I got!  I've never tried any of the Liquid Sand polishes before (although I do have textured polishes from the likes of Barry M) so I was interested to see what they were like so let's get to it!

All swatches are done with no top coat to give the full textured effect of the polishes.

Luxe Tropicana (Inspired by Topshop)

I'm sure a lot of nail artists out there see a pattern on a top or notebook and just say I NEED THAT ON MY NAILS.  When I watched a vlog from one of my fave bloggers, essiebutton, she wore this Topshop top with this gorgeous tropical print.  Of course, we are at the height of summer and tropical prints are all over the high street so what's so different about this one?  It's monochrome.  This just adds a whole dimension of luxury and elegance to a tropical print in my opinion, but anyway, enough with my gabbing, let's get on with it!

MAC Nail Transformations Review (Liquid Pigment - Gold Pearl)

So this week MAC released their eagerly anticipated collaboration with Nail Artist Marian Newman called Nail Transformations, which features 6 different effect top coats and three colour nail varnishes.  I took myself to my local MAC counter on Friday (after doing a friend's nails so I was in a bit of a rush since shops were closing soon) and quickly swatched all of the effects coats that were out (the pink pearl top coat was missing) on my right hand that just had plain polish on and I decided to go for the Gold Pearl Liquid Pigment from the collection.  I'll give you a first impressions of the other polishes in a bit but first, let me show and tell you what I think of my choice :-)

Geometric Green (Inspired by M&S Dark Chocolate with Mint)

So here's the story, I was buying some treats for my Granda for Father's Day and in Marks and Spencer, I grabbed some dark chocolate since he loves it and I noticed that all of the chocolate wrappers had really cool patterns so before I gave them to him, I snapped a new pictures for nailspiration.  I'll be doing a few manicures over the coming weeks inspired by the packaging but here's the first one...
